The top 10 largest banks in the world by revenue

With all the outrage at the banks recently, I decided to write a brief summary of the largest banks in the world. This is to help people to put into perspective some banks as a great reality. All these figures are based on the income of the bank. So the next time indignant bonuses for bankers'. Rightly or not, you know that to be angry and in what order!

Rank Bank Assets Ticker country (in million U.S. $). Dividend yield
1 Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) 3483179 N / A
2German Bank of Germany (DB) 3,068,724 1.04%
3 UK Barclays Bank (BCS) 2,977,491 N / A
4 BNP Paribas in France (BNPQY.PK) 2,477,272 1.76%
5 Credit Agricole Group, France 2,067,577
6 UBS of Switzerland (UBS) 1,881,246 N / A
7 JP Morgan Chase & Co USA (JPM) 1,746,242 4.11%
8 France Societe Generale (SCGLY.PK) 1,566,904 2.25%
9 The U.S. Bank of America Corp. (BAC) 1,471,631 0.23%
10 Italy 1,456,892 UniCredit

Another point that might find more interesting is that JPMorgan is seventh on the list. In America, we regard this as one of the largest banks. But on a global scale, is in fact almost half of the major UK banks.

We have another article published on the countries most gold reserves. It 'the same theme and you might find interesting.
